What a wild ride of a first chapter.

Excited to continue my annual reading of The Expanse, but I need to read a book that isn’t another 600 pages first

Loving this book so far. Haymitch is a MUCH more likable protagonist than Katniss, and I’m intrigued to see where this story ends… less than 100 pages to go!

Oh… this just got REAL interesting. I love a good mid-point plot twist!

A phenomenal satire that holds relevance over 80 years past its original publication. It’s amazing how, in many ways, a shift in perspective helps us understand ourselves and others in a new light.

This is a book I’m happy to read at a slower pace, as even a single letter from “Uncle Screwtape” is a lot to meditate on. Lewis’ vast vocabulary challenges even my English teacher brain, which I’m grateful for.

I’m gonna finish this book, even if it kills me. Skimming through the fluff has certainly been more enjoyable though!
