Sobbed violently at the nonfiction account of pre- and post-bombing Dresden, wept and raged through descriptions of Vonnegut’s indoctrination into the imperialist war machine, and have since decided to put this extraordinarily despairing volume down until I feel slightly less hopeful about the future of our nation

the latest book club read: extremely straightforward, spoon-feed-y, and (for lack of a better term) rather aggressively woke in its delivery. but charming, and the setup of the world is interesting

foaming at the mouth (as is traditional when I read Vonnegut, but this one is entirely an anti-war collection of previously unpublished snippets)

UH?? writing style is not groundbreaking but good god is the content huge
