Great…I’m starting this book late on Sunday evening and this part is literally my fav part of the show I know this part will be long but I do think I will read until I can longer

Jiang Cheng “It doesn’t concern us”
Wei Wuxian “it does concern us”

and I think that’s how you can summarize the whole series.

I’m crying😭 finally the book gave me what I’ve waited 50 episodes for

The show never showed Lan Zhan running around like a happy little kid it made me cry knowing he did this in the book🥹

“Even his soul was shattered” tell me why this storyline is way way way sadder than the show omg😭

I’m watching the show too, I just reached a point in the book, the show is not yet at (even though I’m at episode 29 but I’m still in the past) so I’ll halt for now until the show travels back to the current time.

I’m still convinced I know the plot twist I really hope I’m wrong because if I’m correct I would’ve wished I’d stop reading now, I’ve read way too many good thrillers this one is a bit of a bore so far

I’m convinced I know the twist (I’m always wrong I hope I am)

I’m reading this in physical copy and for the past 100 pages I’ve completely ruined the book by me gripping the book too tightly. Mind you today the new HOTD episode came out (aka my current hyper fixation) and I played it for 20 seconds before I was like nope got to continue reading. Think this is the first time in 10+ years in choosing not to watch anything GOT related the day it came out

Why do I have work tomorrow I just want to keep reading

Dare I say this is becoming one of my fav books ever? And I’m not even halfway

Ali Hazelwood I love you.

Love everything about this so far, no notes

Turns out I don’t hate all romance books I just need to exclusively read Ali Hazelwood books🤭

Why is this soooo boring oh my god I’ll just watch the movie instead

I was a bit busy today to read a lot but I can’t wait to continue it’s really interesting so far
