Fucking miscommunication trope ugh Candace literally is so oblivious when he’s blatantly saying he’s obsessed with her

Nah nah nah he’s being a total ass rn I hate 3rd act conflict involving arguments between the characters. There are several other ways to make a climax in a book that doesn’t involve horrible, degrading insults from the mmc. He’s been immature several times throughout this book it’s pissing me off

This is confusing. Hopefully it’ll get better bc at this moment I do not know how it has 4 stars

I really want to like this more than I currently do but like he actually kind of sucks. Like ik from peoples reviews he becomes nicer but he’s such an arrogant entitled jerk and not in the charming flirty way. The side characters have a better love story going on than them currently:/

I like that I’m learning more about demisexuality I’ve never read a book with a character in it who was demisexual but it is kind of a brain puzzle for me to get into his pov bc I’m not familiar with it at all. I relate so much to Ruth though I really love her
