The story is quite interesting so far, but I think I see where it's going. But what's wrong with Kenna? Claiming she's never been interested in finding a husband, but then feeling attracted to the Princes for no reason? And also the Princes seemingly being interested in her for no reason except that she's "the human that crossed the bog".

I haven't finished the first chapter yet but honestly, I'm kinda tired of "not like other girls" FMCs that are "scrawny, undesirable and don't care about finding a husband".

For once I want to read about an FMC that's just like the other girls, and believes in love or whatever.

I mean I guess I like the story so far but it feels very, veery YA (and kinda wattpad lol)

Love love love love LOVE this audiobook so far. Neema is a lovely character to follow, she's smart and compassionate, but not naive. Cain, oh man. He reminds me of Jacks!! Jacks the Prince of Hearts! The book is also surprisingly really funny, but still serious (really like the mystery). Overall, love it.

Honestly, LOVING this so far. I've learned that this is not actually a Romance book, despite it being marketed that way. The MMC is interesting and I'm really curious to see how their relationship evolves.

At this point I'm just hate-listening to this audiobook at 2x speed, hoping it'll be over soon. I hate Thragas personality. Durlain is better but he's quite bland.

I'm listening to the audiobook. The story is interesting and engaging, but the FMC is genuinely the most annoying person I've had to listen to for a long, long time. Sorry, Miss "I love my 6 knives and I'm such a petty and sassy bad bitch that doesn't care about women's fashion", also I've lifted my little finger to help my travel partner, so now I've done my part for the next 2 weeks, how DARE he ask more of me!

Oh boy... Unfortunately this book has not managed to convince me so far (and I'm already 50% in). It's been a whole lot of random minor things happening and a lot of "and then it all went dark", "and then all chaos broke loose", "and then whatever", without actually anything of significance happening at all.

This book is trying really hard to be really mysterious but it's just a mess so far.

75% in and there has been NO character development for our female lead at all; it's quite frustrating for the reader. She's still stubborn, ignorant, selfish and thinks she's the only one that's ever suffered in life. Who does she think she is?

Tell don't show. We're constantly told that Kaelis is a big bad evil and cruel prince but somehow all we've been shown is him being a gentle, nice and very reasonable person.
