Reading this in pace with the story. :)

This story is massive, with multiple perspectives and a branching plot. I'm so curious how everything will end.

I have been waiting for this book since I met Rhaego in book one.

Upset all over again about the character death in the last book. I have beef with Brandon.

This book is definitely giving the spooky vibes and I love it. There are some parallels with Carmilla but Bram Stoker did add his own twist to the vampire lore.

In an unfortunate turn of events, my library hold ran out and now my library doesn't offer this volume anymore. Will have to shelve it for later.

I absolutely would never have guessed how gory and unhinged this book would get.

The way this book pulled me in from the very first chapter.

Picked this up again after more than a week! The pacing is steady in the middle and I've enjoyed reading this book slowly.

So glad I discovered the joys of cowboy romances.

Still livid Spotify removed this!!!! My best friend is an absolute angel and gifted me the audiobook bc she knows I'm committed to this story.

I was absolutely not expecting that. And then the 16 year time jump!

Quick re-read before jumping into Volume Two.

This book has had me so stressed out needing to know what happens next. Probably explains why I've made so much progress on it within a few days.

Really trying to finish this book today! I have 330 pages left and the plot is plotting.

When I started, I fully thought this spinoff was a duology and this was the last book. 🤦‍♀️

Well... I will say the second half of Lights Out made me miss them so....

Kind of scared that this book is shorter than the first because after the way The Jasad Heir ended, I NEED ANSWERS.

The way The Grandest Game ended... I'm not ready.

Just as cozy and wonderful as the first book. I simultaneously want this book to last forever and cannot put it down.

Kinda saw it coming that the lady was sus.

I checked the acknowledgments before I started the book just to make sure she had an actual lawyer check the details and she did. Definitely a he falls first romance bc Ezra is GONE for Dani.
