Sierra is on page 4 of 496 of Python for Data Science For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))
I've read the introduction and I'm a bit disappointed in the assumptions the writers had of the reader. They are very direct about saying that they are teaching Python only in relation to Data Science. That said, they took ot the primer from the original book, I guess so the book stayed more up to date? Or so you have to buy the 7 books in one Python for Dummies???

So far, I'm intrigued. I don't really understand everything yet, but I'm curious to see how this go. I can't help but notice how specific this feels to scholars and those writing scholarly papers though. I would like to use this towards my own article and private study, but I think I need to read a bit more to really understand how this will fit in all that.

Sierra is starting Fear and Clothing: Unbuckling American Style
I'm by no means of fashionista, but I've always had a curiosity about fashion. My weight has kept me from a lot of styles or at least kept me from finding styles I like in the right size. I'm curious to see how this book is going to go.

Sierra is on page 38 of 224 of Stan Lee's How to Write Comics: From the Legendary Co-Creator of Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Iron Man
So far, he's give the history of comics from back before he even started in comics. He's pretty straight forward and also recommends a few books to jump into and greats readers should follow.

So far so good. I'm not a fan of the main character, but I can understand her plight.

So far it's alright. it's not written in my preferred style, maybe a bit to obvious, but it's very young adult.

Sierra is on page 50 of 175 of The Chairs Are Where the People Go: How to Live, Work, and Play in the City
I started this many years ago and only now have I picked up this book again. I don't feel as if it's really teaching me how to live in a city so much as how to roll with the punches...which might be point.

Sierra is on page 112 of 400 of Burn Your Portfolio: Stuff They Don't Teach You in Design School, But Should
I'm catching up to where I was when I first started the book. The chapters in the 30s are touching base with issues I have at my current company and as an individual. How things are run and so forth.

Sierra is 94% done with The Colour Out of Space
I got through the main story so easily but the other two are seriously dragging me to a near halt.

I've never read this author before or too many books from the 70s, however, this book reads just like someone would expect the 70s to sound like? Misogynistic lead and a woman he knows he can surely break? It's era relevant I suppose.

Sierra is starting The Dressmaker of Khair Khana: Five Sisters, One Remarkable Family, and the Woman Who Risked Everything to Keep Them Safe
I'm still in the introduction and it's basically setting the scene for how out of place the reporter that covered the story is.

So far there are three different points of view going, but I am so early into the story, that I'm not sure what to think of this. It kind of reminds me of my die hard favorite Koontz book "The Watchers." There were different parts of the story being told in that one too, but not every POV was of interest to me. I hope that doesn't happen in this story, too. Still good so far.
