So far so good. I'm reading the Turkish version, translation of which is excellent.

Very useless, empty book. I'm reading it only because I have this terrible obsession with finishing a book once I've started it. I'm hating myself for wasting my time on this nonsense. Just change the words, and it could be meaningless, religious banter just the same.

The first 1/3 of the book bored me to death.
The second 1/3 attracted my attention.
The last 1/3 was so good, it brought me tears of joy.
A little long-winded, the late Carl Sagan could clearly keep the book shorter&more succinct. However, by the end of the book, I felt happy that he had written this the way he had. It was a very comprehensive introduction for the skeptical and scientific thought. Would recommend.

i haven't forward very much with the book yet but I'm really hooked with the concept of "character ethic versus personality ethic". And the author's focus on paradigm shift before all else truly bases the book on solid ground, according to me.

Wonderful, as usual.

Haters gonna hate... But this book was just great! It's a pitty Mr. Herbert did not live long enough to finalize the series himself.

This book is right on its way to becoming the first book I had to quit. It's sooooo slow and almost entirely out of my range of interests. I was fooled by its name used in the book's Turkish version. In other words; I was cheated by the publisher.

Fena sayilmaz... Cok başarılı bulduğumu da söyleyemem ama: Bildiklerimizi hatırlamaya yardimci olduğu kesin ama yeni bir ufuk açmiyor. Olaylara yaklaşıminda çoğu zaman okullardaki ders kitaplariyla ayni çizgide... Birçok kez "E biz bu yorumu yillarca okumuştuk okulda zaten!" diye isyan ettiğim oldu. Ama okul çağında çocuğum olsa bu kitabi okuturdum diye düşünüyorum.
