this is the other book my friends bought me for my birthday and the main one!!! Murder at Holly House was supposed to be like a second last minute choice lmao but i chose to read it first bc yayayaya christmas vibes!

i've never read an agatha christie book and i heard she's like one of the pro murder mystery writers or whatever so this better be good. I HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS !!!!

NO it's not bc they're both historical fiction books taking place in britain (though ig that's part of it) but this book, particularly frank's monologue about how advancements in technology might lead society astray, reminds me a LOT of the outcasts of time by ian mortimer. which i do like bc it's kinda like the actually good part of the outcasts of time lmao

anyway i'm loving this book so far 🙏
