remeber the feeling when you're a kid and don't know how the world works and it feels kind of terrifying? that's what i constantly feel when reading this.

i kinda knew where this was going but the reveal was effective nonetheless. it's unsettling.

sleep deprivation and uni stress finally got to me.. couldn't even read anything for the past few days

The prose is so damn amazing, and the translation is awesome - it sounds perfect but reading a few reviews, I dread the explicit scenes.

God I forgot how fun programming can be. This is positively amazing, everything is organized and bite-sized and there's space to experiment and learn things thoroughly.. why can't all textbooks be like this?

does this get better? i really want to enjoy this book and i don't want to dnf the first book i picked up this year but it feels like an essay more than a story

It's all fun and games until OOP shows up.

reading it is one thing but integrating it in my life though...

damn i thought this was gonna get five stars. the theory is fine and all but his experience told me everything i needed to know. the first part spoke for itself, second feels weak in comparison. maybe it's just that it reads like a textbook.

It's very interesting but it isn't for beginners and some concepts aren't explained thoroughly. I wasted so much time on GR today because I didn't want to read this.. I mean, it's good but my tolerance for programming has become so low now.

Note to self: Read 4.11.2 (Macro Substitution) again.

i thought i'd finish it in a day or two but it's incredibly hard to get through. probably going to be five stars (maybe four idk). it's a goldmine from a psychological perspective.
