I am outing myself but fuck it xD
I am enjoying the inclusivity in this book and how it doesn't use the words female and male (like a lot of people do with many different things in life) to divide the two genitalia because even if you do have one or the other, it doesn't mean you identify with the sex at birth (e.g., someone who is Transgender or Gender Nonconforming.)

WAHHH I think this will be going into my favorites shelf!

I am already loving this book and this authors humor!

I am learning the actual name for plants and insects that I've known for so long, yayy!

So bad. Like it's weirdly sexual and I hate it. >.<

A few things in this book I disagree with but overall this book is fine.

So on page 45 someone named Céline Cousteau said the most mind opening sentence ever to me.
"If you see a wild animal in a market and you want to buy it and set it free, you shouldn't, because you're contributing to the economy that creates that problem. You need to attack higher up.”

This sentence hit home to me because I would have totally done this without thinking of that!

Dude, the author did the one thing that peeves me...saying The Earth is fragile...
NOO! The Earth has put up with SO much that humans have done to it for SO LONG!! Like I hate when people say that so much.
I personally think The Earth is a so strong and bad***!!

I admit the book claims its "a collection of facts about the most-used room in the house" but I think that's pushing it a bit. As it talks about more then just bathroom facts. For example it talks about cleaning an elephant and the best way to do so. Which isn't a bathroom fact but a fact on hygiene. Which I guess can be linked back to bathrooms but isn't directly linked to the bathroom.

Yes...we're reading this. I found it in a Little Library on the street. I sanitized it as well when I got it as it's...well a bathroom book. I can totally see someone on the toilet with this book, haha xD

I am not even half way through the book and you can really tell Don Quixote is an ass cheek.
Like he really looks down on Sancho and honestly Don Quixote is really toxic.
Like he thinks kidnapping a princess/woman is great especially if you want to marry them and they don't want to marry you.

I usually do not understand poetry or it's hard for me to understand what is going on. But this is actually really clear and simple to understand but also a very serious topic (homelessness) that is important to me.
I'm really liking this book so far.
