Stupidest book I’ve read in a long time. Highly disappointed.

This book is a mess… The only reason I’m going to try and finish it is because apparently the people at my job thought it would make a great book of the month… But none of it makes sense and the main character is just as despicable as every single person who lives in this apartment building… Oh and speaking of the apartment building… Even the authors description of the building itself does not make sense.

Michael Wolff writes like Trump speaks. Incoherent, off the walls tangents, stream of consciousness, strange asides, and no linearity. It isn’t hitting its mark, which I was really hoping it would do.

Lucy doesn’t deserve Darren. That’s all I’ve got to say right now.

Just when I start to think I might like it in the book becomes more convoluted and grammatically impossible.

Not feeling this. The editing is awful. The grammar atrocious. And I question the imagery when I'm looking up to see the lights in the valleys above ...

I want to like this book. I really do ... I haven't read the rest of them, so maybe I shouldn't have started here ... but Celaena is a selfish, spoiled, narcissistic, petty child who jumps in head first with no thinking at all and manages to cause her own dramas without remorse for screwing up the lives of those people affected
