Human witches as villains is certainly something new. I'm a fan of the art in this one, lots of unique character designs

Finished book 1. Had to return to library.

Made it this far but then I had to return it to the library. It's not an easy read, I might find a prose translation instead. 80 pages in and I'm still just reading about Telemachus going to different places and complaining how sad he is that his dad is gone and how there's so many men in his house stealing all his stuff

Discord and the Cutie Mark Crusaders was so cute :') Leave it to childlike curiosity and joy to teach him an unintentional lesson. All the references were so much fun too, Star Trek was hilarious, Power Rangers (or maybe Voltron?) with Kaiju Gummy was great, and even Conan the Barbarian??? Very entertaining

How have I never read these comics before

Chapter 1: cute! This was definitely written with the adult audience in mind. A lot of the dialogue meaning will go right over kids' heads. Also the PNN reporter is a funny character, and confirmed there's TV in Ponyville?

I like the narrative voice of this book and how everything is explained with scientific backing. I made it to Part 3 and have to return it to the library but I will definitely continue reading.

Telemachus nepo baby confirmed. Also it really feels like I'm reading the Bible, with the amount of "so and so, son of so and so" that's repeated over and over and over again

Coming into this my knowledge is all based on EPIC the musical, so seeing that the story actually starts with Athena petitioning Olympus a la God Games, and Telemachus receiving mentorship from her a la Little Wolf is very interesting
