I have got to dream bigger

The stories in the middle of the anthology are insanely more exciting than the first three. I wish they changed up the order of stories a little differently, because the introducing stories unfortunately were predictable and a bit eh. So it was hard to stay excited to keep reading at first

I'm enjoying listening as I drive but the stories are a little predictable. I appreciate that the black women in this anthology are not disposable, but truthfully the knowledge that the main characters lives aren't really in danger takes the scare factor away. Each short story's issue is resolved at the end and takes away from the suspense. So far at least

I'm glad I waited to read this until now

I love June Jordan. Sometimes she doesn't make any sense to me but I love that about her because you can tell it makes perfect sense to her. And there are times where she's speaking so clearly and loudly and explicitly that you have no choice but to understand
