In between tales of systemic abuse and crippling poverty, I find myself falling in love with each character even more than the last. I would die on any sword, hill, or other object for Bannock

“I must apologize, Darrow. For not seeing you sooner—when you were just a boy who broke his Institute. Had I opened my eyes and noticed you, what a world we would still have. But I see you now. And you are immense.”

I like how the perspective still incorporates Darrow and what we love his character for, but fleshes out the world more through other characters. It also helps me remember all the gyat dam names
