been reading this novel in short bursts for the last two months.

ever read something you know is objectively good, but you can't ingest more than a certain amount at a time, because it's practically the literary equivalent of choosing to stay in a flashy airtight chamber with 10% less oxygen in the air than you're used to? kinda cool, you're not gonna die from it, but you're not exactly having a great time either.

just 7% into this and i'm already tempted to label this as "is this a personal attack" the book
