i'm not blown away as of yet. the cover is stunning though.

jane is very relateable

a book that is described as 'The Invisible Life of Addie Larue' meets 'A Dowry Of Blood' can not be anything but wonderful? right??

i do want to love this book, but i have serious problems with winston's view of women. not only is he a sex buyer (something i perhaps could have overlooked, since it was written in a different time after all), but his weird, rapey comments about julia bothers me a great deal.

currently reading this book for school as well. this really is the year of the classics for me! i absolutely love this (and jane!) so far.

i actually enjoy this, despite the fact that there are some controversies surrounding it! i believe it has something to do with poor depiction of hungarian history, as well as incorrect use of the hungarian language. since i am not hungarian, however, i can't speak for how (in)correct this book is.

this started off good, but it is getting cheesy im ngl.

of course a certain someone is a prince. and why have all the interesting characters died already? :(

so, a little something something happened, and now i am reading this book?

i am trying to read some of the books on my physical tbr this year, and this is one of those books that has been sitting on my shelf for years (or year in singular? i don't remember buying it). the illumicrate edition is very pretty indeed - as is the new special edition which released this year.

i am not going to lie, this reads very ya.

this is intriguing, but i am not yet blown away - i am not going to lie.

i know two things for certain about this book:
1. the cover is absolutely stunning.
2. it has been sitting on my tbr for years.

reading this for my english class. i have no idea how long it will take me to finish this, but i guess i will have to hurry :,) reading because of pressure is almost never successful with me.

in honour of halloween, it felt fitting to finally read this book. vampires are always a hit.
