Hopping back into this after a biiig pause. Hopefully the last half picks up a bit.

I have no idea what’s going on. I don’t know if it’s the sentence structure or what but I’m finding it really difficult to follow and understand.
This book starts by jumping straight into the action with two POVs and introduces MANY different characters, I don’t know who anyone is and I don’t have enough context behind all this fighting.
I know I’m only 50 pages in, but I’m struggling bad.

I feel like this may be one of those books you had to be there for and experience when it originally came out, bc I am just not getting the hype.

Feel like we are finally getting somewhere, felt like the story hadn’t really started, was bored and couldn’t tell what direction this was going in. But I’m on board now!

Starting with this before six of crows was definitely the move. That would’ve been so confusing if I kept going without shadow and bone.
I’d only gotten through 20 pages of six of crows in the past two weeks and I just sat down and zoomed through 80 pages of shadow and bone immediately. Soooo that’s a win

Throne of Glass audiobook reread LESGOOOO

Finishing this one up and taking a pause from this series… maybe one day I’ll come back and physically read the books rather than audio. So insanely dense and complicated I just can’t do it

I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on! And they keep introducing new POVs! Who are these people! I’ll never know!
I genuinely can’t stop though, it’s like my comfort background noise that will never be intelligible.

What a first chapter. I can tell this one’s gonna be gooooooood

Wasn’t sure about starting this since I didn’t love her other book, The Coven. BUT this is much better! Definitely enjoying.

Tis the year for DNFing (trying to be brave and not force it if I’m not vibing)
I do really like the premise of this but I don’t think this is a book for audio. I’ll one day pick it up again and retry with a physical book!
