I don’t know why I put off reading this book for so long! It’s bittersweet how often D’Angelo is mentioned in this book… from the podcast being named “Brown Sugar” to Kiki having a Voodoo poster on her wall. This is like a neosoul love letter 💌

Buddy reading this with the mini. We’re listening to the audiobook and it’s SOOOOO GOOD! The mini is usually a non fiction reader & I’m a romance reader, so this book is out of our comfort zone, but it’s a pleasant surprise! It’s magical & a lil horror based, and the main FMC is HILARIOUS!!!

Omg, my daughter and I stumbled upon this book in a trip to Barnes…it looked really cute and we decided to do a buddy read. This book is bat$hit crazy, in the best way! You can get tickled to death? Sign me up!

I just have to get something off my chest. Did I read the same book as everyone else? People are saying that Milo was like a creepy predator…I didn’t get that vibe at all…He took great care with Pru. We should all be so lucky to have our first sexual partner be as attentive and caring as Milo was. And saying that Pru seemed like a clueless virgin does her character a serious disservice.
