I don’t know if it’s too soon to say this (I hope I’m not jinxing it🤞🏻) but I feel like I’m going to love this book so much. There’s this situation, and Teddy, handled it so perfectly. I love his personality. He’s bubbly and animated, but also professional, considerate, and very empathetic. We still don’t know much about Henrick, but he seems shy and reserved. This duo is going to be epic 🤩

These two are like rabbits in heat 🔥🔥 I’m not complaining, I love every second of it. But I’m reading this in a room full of people and have to keep a straight face 🫥 meanwhile, I’m internally ovulating 🥵🫣🤭🫨

Imagine the tension if this was written in first person 🔥🔥

I’m so glad I read One Golden Summer first, because there’s no way I would’ve continued this series if I had started with this one. This book is an example of a second-chance trope gone horribly wrong 👎🏻

The fact that he was lying beside Oraya and remembering he had once lain beside Nessanyn irks the heck out of me. Whether you love Nessanyn or not, there’s no need to compare the two women just to verify your feelings 🤮 I never thought highly of Raihn, but I did think he was better than that. Oh, boys…

I can’t believe the rage I felt in book 1 is still sizzling in me. The the second I saw Raihn’s name in chapter 1, I got mad all over again, and it’s been a hot minute since I read The Serpent and the Wings of Night 🙄

I have high hopes for this book, I love a trueee enemies to lovers trope. Especially they’re enemies so hard, they want to kill each other ☠️🫦 She almost killed him twice, I’m living for those moments ✨✨ However, it seems like those moments didnt last long 😩

I didn’t read the synopsis because I wanted to explore it all by myself. Now I’m at the part where they explain the world building and the magic system, and I’m soooo excited for Bree. I can’t wait to go on this journey with her 🤩😆
