Whitney Johnson was a terrible choice of narrator for this book. I already can not stand Sumi and Cora and the way Whitney is voicing them is just nails on chalkboards. Feel like I'm listening to the chipmunks

Omg.... What is this book even....... Everyone having sexual attraction, attitude, sexual attraction, arguing, no one gets along - what is even the point?? And just because a teacher is around the same age as the student doesn't mean the student doesn't have to listen to the teacher. All the students have attitudes with the teachers. All the women hate the men .... Jeez....

At 92% Ree finally says what I've been thinking this whole time about the Marin + Dax situation... Tbh, this book could have been a novella. It has SO MUCH repetition......

Marin is so tragic, jeez. This story is really good but anytime it switches to her inner monologue or thoughts, I can't help but roll my eyes. She is so frustrating

This author was all horned up while writing this. And her obsession with all the womens' waists. "Her small waist" "he touched her waist" "he held her waist" "he grabbed her waist" "pulled her dress up to her waist".... 😒

I want to DNF this so bad. Listening at x1.75 speed to just get it done. One thing that has seriously bothered since the first book the calling Evie & Tristan by different names - I do not understand the purpose. All in the same paragraph it'll bounce from Evangeline to Evie to Sage. This is so irritating when we are have to remember 15 other names.

The way the narrator draws out Eniiyi's name, you'd swear there were more 'i's' at the end sounds like "aneeeeeee"

Thomas is really such a sorry character. How is he supposed to be their ultimate pick for this whole mission??? 🙄

This book is trying so hard to make everyone seem like a suspect and all it's doing is making everyone annoying and unlikable, even Courtney is unlikeable.

Some said this book was "too woke"... Did they even red half of Colin & Donna's dialogue?? Ugh...

I LOVE T. Kingfisher. Listening to the audiobook and I'm afraid Mary Kowal can't nail down what kind of accent she wants to do for Jackson. She fluctuates between a black southern man and then to an Irish(?) man... But mostly a southern black man. It kinda takes me out of the story at times.

Trying to get into this. All of these numbers are seriously killing it for me. Had to bump up the playback speed.

I'm going to have to abandon this book right here. I'm in the audiobook and I can not take the reading off of all the zeros. The first part of the book, I ended up skipping through because it was mind numbing but again.... No, thank you. I'll have to pick up the print version to finish it.

I feel like this author has always felt weird and so she's grown up trying to max out her weirdness as a cute little quirk. She's said that people reading this book are doing so to make themselves a better person.... This is supposed to be a self help book!?!?!? *Sigh*

The audio is so bad on this one. The thought's volume are loud and the dialogue between characters volume sounds so far away.

This book is the equivalent of a woman who has just started dating the most mediocre man and can not stop talk about him. Every time you bring up a story, it reminds her of this one time her mediocre man did something mediocre...... Uuuugh

I need to start making a note of who recommends these books to me because this is a tough one to get through

This story is so formulaic... I feel like the author is trying to make a word count with the way that the simplest things are over described...

Jeremy Arthur's voice he uses for the women in the story is very annoying for me. They're all very nasally... Especially Sydney.
