Lawd why am I swooning over a fictional man named Zane??? I was expecting this to me enemies to lovers straight off the bat. I was not prepared for this 😭

Him secretly being a morally gray dude who tortures people feels so random and out of place. Like it doesn’t fit the series, let alone his character. I remember thinking that last time I read it but it feels even more jarring this second read.

The way this is still heart achingly angsty even though I already knew exactly what was gonna happen. Damn.
