Max, guilty or not, I hate your freaking guts.

This is going to be a hard, necessary read. I started crying at only 26 pages in and then reading the backstory... ugh. My heart hurts for Tananarive Due and her family. I haven't even finished this, but I know I'm going to end up recommending this forever.

The comparison to ACOTAR made me nervous because I have no desire to read that series, but it's kinda reminding me of Vampire Academy, and I adore that series. Will update the further I go. So far, I would recommend it!

As much as I would love to stay up all night and read this, my kids have school. My flabbers have been gassted multiple times with this.

It's currently 2:58 in the morning. As much as I would love to stay up the rest of the night to finish this, I have to go to sleep. Tears of not joy.

I know there's a third act breakup because I looked ahead. Sue me. There's less than 80 pages left, and I'm annoyed. I've loved the book. Allie and Dean are so cute together. I feel like they're more in lust than in love, but I guess we shall see what happens. Sigh.

I googled the killer, and I'm curious how this is going to work out. Safe to say, I am intrigued. It's pretty good so far.

Over 100 pages in, and the mcs haven't even met. Ms. Keri Lake is the queen of slow burns, and I'm a glutton for them. This book has me hooked. So interesting!

These girls are best friends? It seems like they hate each other. Kinda over this arguing. There is finally something else happening.

I am loving this series. I wanted a really good post-apocalyptic romantasy, and this is giving me exactly that. 100% what I was wanting and in the mood for. I think the overall series will be a 5⭐️ once I finish.
