As someone who’s got eight different thoughts running through my head at any given moment I am STRUGGLING with this mc’s thought process on the drive home from wrestling. Dude doesn’t stop for a second. I have to keep reminding myself that this is the same drive home and asking “for how much longer are all of these kids in the car???”

Jo reminds me of a mix of Jude and JB from a little life (minus Jude’s unnecessary constant suffering bc that book is truly just torture porn) in the way she wants to memorialize and hold onto the feeling of the group as if there is only existing in life outside of art school for any of them individually, interesting enough so far and obviously very different but the connection feels like a recipe for disaster
