I'm so upset. This series was so good - until this book. 52 pages in and I have a headache. I understand there is a theme of neurodivergence and this FMC has ADHD/OCD, ect, but I feel like this is an insult to people with those diagnosis. She is completely inept. I'm actually siding with Hayes and it angers me. I may have to skim through this one to get to the final book.

I am furious with the FMC. She's incredibly rude to the MMC. Not sure how the author is going to manage a redemption arc.

Just realized i never read the 5th book in this series. I'll brb!

... this one might not be my fav, but I'm going to try to stick it out.

This is only my second reverse age gap. She keeps saying that "no one bats an eye if the man is older, dating a way younger woman"... I get that it's more common, but people still definitely judge. I know from experience - being with a man who's 18 yrs older than me for the past 15 years. We get looks and jokes at our expense all the time.

I really want to DNF this book. I hate everything about it. The spice is getting so repetitive and the characters are super annoying. I’m only reading to find out what actually happened to his fiance, but I honestly don’t give a shit.

The “Die Hard is a Christmas movie and I’ve based my entire personality on this ‘fact’” makes me want to play in traffic. I almost want to DNF right now.

Has anyone mentioned how small the FMC is in the last 15 seconds? She’s 5’1”. He’s 6’4”. They reference how tiny she is on almost every single page.

The MMC

Stupid klepto chick signs up to be taken care of and then flips her shit when he goes above and beyond for her. FMC is super annoying and frustrating. MMC is super hot and perfect. This book is pissing me off.

DNF page 5. He’s her “uncle” that has helped raise her - no, thank you.

This book feels like it’s going on forever … 😣 I want to finish it, but there’s just so many characters, so it’s dragging.
