I just wanted to skim through to find my favourite poems from her, (Wild Geese, I Worried, When I Am Among the Trees, Storage…) and ended up just avidly reading half the book in one sitting
(had to physically stop myself at one point, had other things to do..)
I love Mary Oliver SO much. 😮‍💨

I just screamed. Genuine scream. Like when there’s a jump scare in a thriller movie, there was no stopping it.
Except it happened when reading a sentence.
A single sentence. Oh.my.gods. The visceral reaction i just had.

I can’t even flip the page rn. And I won’t even say what *kind* of ‘visceral reaction’ it was, no hints, but DAMN.
(Its also not at 70%, not spoiling aaanything ab it, its just too good)

The new dnf shelf is giving me hope that they might finally listen to user suggestions and update the gr platform.
Is it hopeless? Perhaps..
But wtv i have always been a dreamer.
