"What uniforms and textbooks?" oh my godddd... i love them i don't want this to end

gg freaking ez

the thought "what the hell am i reading" comes to me from time to time other than that this is fun

i'll finish this vol and prob take a small break from this series to read other books plus the ones for uni but i'll be back asap

this is so freaking good

i love their interactions sososo much like u can tell they love each other sm already i don't feel well

this is so good #wow xiao chiye thank u for your service

my brain won't FOCUS don't know if it's the politics or the adhd

begging for my braincells to lock in

finally started this properly, can't wait for it to become my new obsession

can't read the acknowledgements because the words are blurry for some reason 😭😭😭😭 i can't believe it's over again what a series

chapter 16 is genuinely devastating omfg

happy women in translation month

they're hurting each other and hurting ME as a result

there are so many layers to this

there was only one b̶e̶d̶ horse

'What makes you think Kastor is the weaker man? You don't know him.'
'But I'm coming to know you,' said Laurent

i can't do this....i love them so much

the tension is insane

(about Laurent)
"but perhaps Torveld admired reptiles"
"It was wasteful of nature to have bestowed those looks on one whose character was so unpleasant."

moments like these make me want to know what Laurent is thinking about Damen too so bad, his insults must be a hundred times worse

i've rarely seen a truest ennemies to lovers than this like

"Damen thought that given a choice between the lash and a conversation with Laurent, he might actually choose the lash."

(about Laurent) "a volatile, malicious man he did not trust and could not predict, nor understand."

'I was on the field at Marlas. I never had the chance to face him. I used to wonder what I'd say to him if I did. What I'd do.'

this reread will break me
