worst reading slump in a long while

if i put on my critic hat a bit i'll say that this so far (just finished part 1) is the worst book of the series, but it's like saying dark souls 2 is the worst game in the trilogy where it's still way way way ahead and better than the rest of the competition you know what i mean?

rafael i love you with my whole heart but be so for real just use the character's names 😭 'the soldier', 'the angel', 'the demon', 'the fallen angel' USE NAMES!!!! i have no idea since when does this bother me but it does and i really wish it doesn't

i fucking love rafael nicolas but idk why i had trouble getting into the right mindset to read this. second attempt and i want to finish this!
