Some very interesting imponderables in this book, but I'm finding the answers to some are more than I wanted to know.

Terri is on page 48 of 324 of Dead Presidents: An American Adventure into the Strange Deaths and Surprising Afterlives of Our Nation's Leaders
What a good beginning. Just read the 1st chapter about George Washington. While searching out all the graves of the US Presidents, the author also picked up some little-known facts about each. There's not a chapter on each president, but all presidents are included. Very interesting way to read more about our history. And, oddly enough, somethings fit today's world.

Still plugging away. Trying to put my ancesters in the eras that I'm reading about. A good way to refresh what I learned in school a very long time ago, and bring into perspective some of America's development.

Bought an updated version, mostly started over, still very interesting, but this is not a book to be read at one sitting. Trying to read the book and envision where my ancestors were at any specific time.

Tells the facts, but makes the players come alive. How else would I know that one of George Washington's colleagues called him "The Great Booby"? Gotta love a book that brings historical characters to life.

It's a bit slow going--only because there is so much to take in and there are a lot of articles.

I'm through Politics and sports and on to music section now. I'm glad Andy thinks and writes. I think, mostly the way he did
, but don't put it into works like he did.

Not a book to be read in a couple days. This is a compendium of essays about Common Sense, or the lack there of.

As with all non-fiction books, I can't seem to read it all at once. This one is interesting, but the philosophical musings bog me down.

There's a lot of information to absorb, so this is slower going than fiction. Very interesting, changes the views of history that we have been taught. Things like this should be part of every American's school education.

Terri is on page 382 of 512 of Here is Where: Discovering America's Great Forgotten History
Got a kick out of a sentence about Daniel Boone. The author is talking to a 50-something re-enactor, who I got a chance to see at the Annie Oakley Days fest in Greenville, OH. Anyway, the author states that the re-enactor is friends with Daniel Boone's ancestors. Wow!!
