Tells the facts, but makes the players come alive. How else would I know that one of George Washington's colleagues called him "The Great Booby"? Gotta love a book that brings historical characters to life.

Still plugging away. Trying to put my ancesters in the eras that I'm reading about. A good way to refresh what I learned in school a very long time ago, and bring into perspective some of America's development.
