starting yet another book bcs i’m in toronto and forgot my books at home

ready for the sadness to consume me, to wrap me in thick roots and hide my body at the base of a tree.

banger so far. the first book in years to make me audibly laugh. plus the way the author mixes in poetry, scholarly works and drawings is so incredibly seamless and actually adds to the world building instead of taking it away.

So far so good :)

changing world views page by page. some of the best essays in shifting understanding of property, especially from a pasifika perspective. I fan girl over this book in class.

literally just started but i already know I’m going to cry. The world building is so good, you don’t notice it happening.
