I am always a couple of years behind the general publishing schedule

But everyone else is right this story is so strong even without a romance subplot. I really love the setting, never thought I will experience Ipoh this way

The mystery is mysterying so good but I am so busy to read these days

I really like how the story has culture and history enmeshed in it. Its a novel about people living is a certain time period, it is not a story about that time period

Plus, the whole tiger eating people mystery is so intriguing. Had no idea about that part of Malaysian past
