Story continues to be interesting, while writing continues to be not great.
How many times do you have to remind readers that a character is “my stepmom, Janice.” Not every time she’s mentioned, that’s for sure. We get it.

Author writes teenagers like they’ve never been a teenager before. Too many incorrect uses of the word “like.” Sacrifices good writing and correct grammar for what they think a teenager sounds like.
Also, 5 perspective changes in one (short) chapter is too many.
However, interesting concept and story that has me continuing to read.

Struggling to get through this book, wanted to like it but I don’t think I do. Concept is super interesting, so I’m pushing through it.
Literally the page after my last entrance, it got so much worse so quickly. I cannot understand the hype for this book.
Tiktok/internet slang, too casual of a tone, a bit of a rushed story line…
I appreciate the OCD rep and the stream of thought is very accurate at least.

I feel like everyone i’ve seen is raving about this book, but idk I feel like the writing isn’t as great as it could be, while the concept is super interesting, which is keeping me going.
Feels like a lot of online tiktok slang and almost too casual a tone? Hope it gets better, almost set it down for good like 20 pages in.
