King is doing a really great job of foreshadowing Jack's descent to killing his family. Plenty of domestic violence metaphors building to the final meltdown. I really like that all of his symptoms of drinking are back even though he hasn't broken his sobriety (YET).

I'm enjoying the heck out of this. There is so much more meat to the plot compared to the movie. The wasp nest is a really cool metaphor. The timer was so cruel, like damn Jack just leave other people alone.

The Valentines lady is wild. Like King sure made me uncomfortable. There was no reason for that.
