YES YES YES. I heard someone compare reading Brandon Sanderson books to eating really bland chips with some really great sauces and toppings 😂 And what can I say? Apparently I LOVE bland chips.... with great sauces ❤️

Really like the premise of this book, however I could not really get into it so far. Need the right mood and a couple of hours of uninterrupted reading time I think

Really not what I was expecting...took a break from this for quite a while, curious to see if there will be some kind of plot twist.

Read the first 50 pages by accident and missed a call.... this is INTERESTING. I really like it so far and it is written very palatable.

Well - I was looking for some red flags and I think I found them all 😂😂 Although her feelings are a bit unbelievable for some reason… the random horniness is maybe just a bit too much. And he is for sure unhinged - also the gore for some reason was very graphic for me?

Also Szeth - excuse me? „Who Are you?“ - „Death“….. I so want to see a screen adaptation of this 😩

Nooooo 😭😭😭 Poor Kaladin… his backstory just gets worse and worse. I‘m so mad on his behalf! 😡
Also Shallan is almost getting on my nerves 😂 I want her to do BETTER and be a bit bolder. But I guess there is a lot of room for development 🤔

Still absolutely loving it! I don't know HOW he does that - but something is always happening, but I still feel like the story has barely started? And it was never boring? I'm confused. Also it's not addicting addicting. It's like a silent and slow addiction that you don't notice until you suddenly love Kaladin, cannot wait to see what is going on with Dalinar and Adolin and WHAT EVEN IS SHALLAN DRAWING?

Sehr kurzweilig, die Storyline ist echt cute... aber ich sehe schon den Konflikt kommen und da hab ich aktuell nicht Lust darauf 😂 Noch jemand ein absoluter Mood-Reader?

Started this - liked it a lot... currently on a break because I got the ick with this arranged marriage nonsense. It's written too well and just makes me mad 😂😂

Jumped into this quite quickly after the first book: still very fast paced - so far I think I am enjoying this one even more than the first one! Might have lost my heart to Sturmhond.... why is nobody talking about him? Maybe something happens and I won't like him anymore. But so far I feel like he is my favorite character! Maybe he reminds me of a genderbent Aelin.

Absolutely SAVORING this read. Going pretty slow, but enjoying every minute of it! I get why these books are so hyped... honestly the world just feels so real, it's crazy.

I kind of lost interest a bit... will probably shelf this for now and get back to it when I feel like it.

The dialogue is completely hit and miss for me… I somehow go back and forth between really liking the book and not liking it at all 😂

I think anything historical / historical-adjacent might not be for me…. All this talk of “maidenhood” relating to “respect” and “honor” and the way everyone decides everything for Cinnia over her head gives me the ick 😂 I know it‘s due to the type of society portrayed, but I don‘t like it

I think it is picking up for me! Not sure how I feel about the romantic subplot with Lin... I am very curious how her storyline ends, since technically she is not a real human and her mere existance is currently killing people. Can she change her own shards when they "run empty"?
