So far I’m really liking it. The magic system is not overly complicated. I’m a little confused about the whole who is stuck in who stuff but the action and continuing on is fast paced and not confusing enough to stop it but just trek on

This book has its claws in me. But I have to say the fantasy “lost their memory” trope is annoying me and I need to avoid for a while. But everything else/dystopian is great!

I’m going to have to come back to it because I guess I’m not in the mood or there is nothing happening and already enough into it where I’m like damn I’ve only seen one thing happen

(3⭐️) I think it was a bit long. I was in shock of the people dying. Diem had to get it together dude. Luther was my favorite and I honestly lived for his POV and cried so hard at the end

REREAD FOR THE MOVIE

(4⭐️) the ending made up for it. I’m glad the Maidens are back, it felt unfinished. Was shocked about the identity of Caspia! And the ending?!

I devoured. Someone said a mix between binding 13 and the deal and they were spot on.

3⭐️ it wasn’t bad but some parts of the writing was questionable. I thought they were being real dumb during the storms like they don’t do it for a living. But the ending with the truth/dare pattern etc was really cute!

(3.75⭐️) There was a lot I loved and didn’t love. I loved everyone else’s each individual story. I wished we knew more about Alexander and why he did it, more complex. I feel like alot happened and didn’t at the same time? I think the next book needs to be the last of it even though it do love them

Okay I love these books and always listen to the audiobook because it’s so good. I usually reread every time for release but I don’t have time so going into watching multiple recap videos 🤞🏼

(3⭐️) some really great moments and then really slow moments. The slow burn is SLOW. Like please. And I was hoping for more answers by now but I don’t know

(4⭐️) I loved her, Dolly was not overly pushy and was a likeable person and so was Stewart. Even though they made my chest ache for a part there.

Okay! The bomb drop to Helene! Everything going on with Elias, Laia, and Darin. A good way to go into book 3
