I honestly thought I would like this more.
So far it is really hard to follow, and it doesn't help that it does not use quotation marks or any paragraph breaks.

This book is compelling, not too many characters, funny, a fun mystery, etc. Really recommend it and see why it has a high rating

Its fine. I am a feminist but this book is still pushing a lot of "All men are terrible, there are no redeeming men, pirate puns, assuming the worst in people unless they are women." It just makes me feel like I'm in my mega feminist high school friend group again and not in a great way.
I really hope it begins to redeeming itself soon. I really liked the first few chapters even knowing they were set up.

I enjoyed the first book. But for the size of this second one I am ZOOMING through it, the pacing is amazing and I am so mad I waited as long as I did to read it. Also it is called "Crucible" not "The Crucible"

Not exactly where i thought it was headed but I'm interested! This is a pretty short audiobook, just under 7 hours long.

Some of the interactions are interesting. But J.H.C there is N O T H I N G happening. The entire book is just a reaction to what happened in the last one with no one knowing what it was. Ugh.

Switching to audiobook for this one is the best decision I made. God I forgot how much he just grates on you.

I've been able to get through a lot of this with painting around the house. Literally nothing happens in this book. I see why people skip it.

Currently reading Crossroads of Twilight, Twilight, and Twilight: Midnight Sun. This is a coincidence though it does not feel like it.

"Damn, kid, you're a mess" Emmet added, sympathy in his tone.

Edward is so all over the place, obsessive, crazy, and weird in a way that is very fun to read. Its amazing going from Bella's perspective that is honestly pretty chill to Edward's melodramatic ass.

Finally making progress, and starting to actually care about what is going on again.

Sadly from what I've heard this book is just the same time period as the previous book but with different characters. Ryan says that this is the one book he thinks is safe to skip in the series, but I ain't built like that.

Beginning is hilarious so far. She is so depressed and down bad at the same time it is such a stupid combo. "Thank god he is hot otherwise I would have to think about my dead parents." ~ more or less a line from the first four chapters.
