Currently reading Crossroads of Twilight, Twilight, and Twilight: Midnight Sun. This is a coincidence though it does not feel like it.

Edward is so all over the place, obsessive, crazy, and weird in a way that is very fun to read. Its amazing going from Bella's perspective that is honestly pretty chill to Edward's melodramatic ass.

Finally making progress, and starting to actually care about what is going on again.

Sadly from what I've heard this book is just the same time period as the previous book but with different characters. Ryan says that this is the one book he thinks is safe to skip in the series, but I ain't built like that.

Beginning is hilarious so far. She is so depressed and down bad at the same time it is such a stupid combo. "Thank god he is hot otherwise I would have to think about my dead parents." ~ more or less a line from the first four chapters.

Just a little over 100 pages left!

Really love the way this is written! But unless something really comes out of left field... I believe I know what the "twist" is and have known from the beginning. I hope I'm wrong!

Work and social life have been too busy to get much reading in since my trip a few weeks ago. Really enjoying this so far though, the writing is detailed enough to be image provoking but simple enough that it doesn't drag. I guess a way of saying it is the story telling feels "tight" so far.

The book is definetly starting to veer a bit from what the movie had. It is all still going to the same place I believe, but the way we are getting there in the more "dream like" areas are very different. I actually am liking the books version better so far. Should finish this today!

I really need to dedicate a chunk of time to reading this with no distractions. The book is really good I just haven't been making time for it.

Man... I love finding books that I know from the first chapter I'm going to love. Did I already see the movie? Yes. Did the movie follow the book very well? So far yes in general. But both of them are so well done I love experiencing this story in bith ways.

Maybe they aren't planning to murder each other, they will understand each other's lies, and there will be no hard feelings :)

I thought the author was being cringe with having a "im so messed up 🤪" kind of character. IT WAS NOT A JOKE. SHE IS MESSED UP. I almost started crying in bed and had to hold my book away from me. I finally am understanding the type of horror this is. Jesus christ

Starting to get into the groove of it. Lots of world building I didn't anticipate.

Santa, Gay Monks and Pirates, heists, international conflict, humor, fascinating historical references, what more could you ask for.

I did not anticipate this book to sound so smart, be so horrific, hilarious, and also just interesting.

Ryan and I were listening to this in the car and were both gasping in horror and laughing like crazy

Spotify kicked me out of being able to listen to this due to their stupid "15 hours a month audiobook access" BS. so this is on hold for me until the new year 😭
