Monumental piece of work! From Melchizedek to now. Its coverage and depth are breathtaking. I learned more about the "middle east" from this one book than all the others put together. Highly recommended. Might add a hard back copy to my library for reference.

Excellent book provides a linkage between the Exodus and its Egyptian roots in a very practical and concrete manner. I think it would be difficult to argue against Falk. Enjoyed it a great deal. Anyone serious about Biblical archaeology should read this.

Reading this because it was recommended by Carmen Imes (an OT biblical scholar specializing in Exodus).

Finally completed this book.

Reading other things while reading this. It is a heavy academic work not in my field hence the time taken to read it.

Enjoying de Silva's style - academic but not too involved and evidence for a traditional view of authorship of NT letters.
