Grappling with the cognitive dissonance that maybe my grandfather did some uncool things during the Vietnam war

I don’t think I can stomach another 142 pages of this.

This is without a doubt one of the most difficult books I have read in my entire life. I am struggling to understand even the most basic concepts.
