I was just thinking to myself how ADHD this FMC seems and was wishing, as an ADHD girlie myself not diagnosed until my early 30s, that Lucy would go there and give this character ADHD and lo and behold, she does!! I feel so seen 😭

God I just love me some Lucy!!

As a fire 🔥 sign ♐️, I’ve actually always had a love for dragons🐉. I even got a small tattoo of one on my 35th birthday. I like to believe they would love me too and would let me take and ride them without killing and eating me 😆

Anyway I’m almost as excited about the dragons in this story as I am about the romance 😊

Chose this on a lark because it’s on one of those GR challenge lists I was browsing and while I love romantasy on screen, I’ve avoided the genre on the page because ADHD. But so far I am intrigued. It might take me FOREVER to finish a book like this or I might breeze through it, TBD!

I’ve decided that first person love scenes are kinda awk for me, and they’re not Elsie’s strength either bless her heart, but I still am loving this book!

I got into this book much easier than I anticipated 😅 the last book I read will be tough to beat though 🥰

I was shipping these two from their brief interactions in the last book alone, and am digging all of the longing and mutual pining and forbidden love angst going on rn 🥰

I am obsessed. In that way that I pray I keep this energy the whole way through and the book doesn’t piss me off before the end. Not sure if I’ll end up loving this more than the masterpiece that is FANGIRL DOWN, but I definitely think it could be a close second! 🤭 (I reserve the right to change my mind ofc 🤣)

Already so much more into this than the last book I just read 🤭 I just love Tessa’s writing!

Just rewatched the Lifetime adaptation on Prime the other day and remembered how much I loved both that cheesy little movie AND this book that it’s based on. So I decided to reread the book for the first time in 2 decades ☺️ Nora truly is one of the best romance writers of all time ⭐️

Bought this book on a lark bc I saw it was on sale and I’m glad I did, it’s a blast! 😆
