I got into this book much easier than I anticipated 😅 the last book I read will be tough to beat though 🥰

……. (Whispers) I’m kind of LOVING this book so far??? 😲 🙊 Like FOAMING AT THE MOUTH. 🫦Just about every single thing is working for me here. Right now it’s firmly 5 stars. I don’t know if it will remain 5 stars once I finish but a lot would have to go wrong and piss me off for me not to 5 star this baby, okay?? 😅😆

I was shipping these two from their brief interactions in the last book alone, and am digging all of the longing and mutual pining and forbidden love angst going on rn 🥰

I am obsessed. In that way that I pray I keep this energy the whole way through and the book doesn’t piss me off before the end. Not sure if I’ll end up loving this more than the masterpiece that is FANGIRL DOWN, but I definitely think it could be a close second! 🤭 (I reserve the right to change my mind ofc 🤣)

Already so much more into this than the last book I just read 🤭 I just love Tessa’s writing!

This was on sale for $1.99 on Kindle but I had points so I ended up getting it for free 🥳woohoooooo

Just rewatched the Lifetime adaptation on Prime the other day and remembered how much I loved both that cheesy little movie AND this book that it’s based on. So I decided to reread the book for the first time in 2 decades ☺️ Nora truly is one of the best romance writers of all time ⭐️

Bought this book on a lark bc I saw it was on sale and I’m glad I did, it’s a blast! 😆

Obsessed !

Loving it so far but the paragraphs upon paragraphs of inner dialogue ARE making my ADHD twitch 😅

Yup I’m officially obsessed with this book and totally understand all of the endless recs in the r/romancebooks sub

So far they have hooked up that one time and now it looks like he’s ghosting her but I fully expect he’ll have some kind of excuse that she’ll accept — I hope he profusely apologizes though! 🙃

It’s taking me forever to get into this book for some reason but I’m determined to because the Reddit RomanceBooks sub RAVED about it and I just have to see what all the fuss is about

SO MUCH exposition it makes my adhd cry. Just paragraph after paragraph and page after page of internal monologue that honestly drives me crazy

But I’m into the actual story so far so I am overlooking/skipping all of the verbose passages

Super into it; way more than I anticipated; Cate is a fantastic writer

I hate that it started with a flashback to 15 years ago focused on 2 characters who had been in the background for the first 5 books of the series - it’s very very very hard for me to get into. But I will persevere because I LOVE fake dating :-)
