I’m done with the first chapter. My thoughts so far: 1- TADINHA; 2- FUCK THE DAD, screw him, make him suffer, he reminded me a bit of own dad 🥲 (a mãe prove pra casa toda); 3- Tadinho do big gay bro!!! 4- TADINHAAAAAAA; 5- JOEY’s DA BEST BIG BRO EVER!!!

Sooo, Calcifer is totally different than in the movie, he is a lot more colorful… and Michael appeared!

I like the atmosphere! There were already some details totally different from the movie, so it’s been very interesting! I think I’m going to start marking the differences from the movie and the book…

To be honest, the last part was actually interesting, but still, it was not worth it I guess… Like, how the fae Eislyn lived for so long? And how was she able to scape Memnon’s wrath? To be honest, I found it ridiculous that the author only explained how she brought Nero to America from Amazon forest in the 3/4 of the second book… I was at o in this book for too long, and I feel I wasted too much time on it…

The only thing that I liked so far was when Mummy went for the rescue, which was only needed due to the main character stupidity & pride. I got so angry with her for being dumb, & for the writer needing to repeat everything & for making Selene as Tapada. I literally want to finish this book ASAP, cuz they r pissing me off constantly. And everything seems to evolve around sex, which is also pissing me off.

It’s the same as last time. Kind of boring, kind of interesting, making ma mad

It’s ok. I think it is better than the first one. I still feel like it is a not very good and well written book. Idk…
I’m a bit intrigued about the Fortuna family. I just want to finish this book to start reading the next one, I stopped for too long in this “series” (there are only two book so far)

To be honest, I was a little bit disappointed at the pack… they should have been there to save/help her. I was a bit disappointed at Yasmin as well, but I do not feel really betrayed since she appeared just some times before and I didn’t have time to start liking her or have feelings attached to her. And Selene is so dumb sometime, I do not really have much patience towards her.

So, it was just one chapter, but I still do not like Memnon, and I am a little bit disappointed because j was expecting s little bit more of “making him pay” instead of taking a potion that made her horny af…
I’m glad Sybil also judges her and not just me. Selena’s mom is so sweet.

It is ok. I am unfortunately starting to root for Memnon… actually, I am not rooting for him, but I am agreeing with most of his decisions, e.g.: I think they should have killed Lauren. It is a bit more interesting than the book 1. And I think it was better written, at least until now it seams like it. Selena is too naïve sometimes, it is pissing me of cuz she is not dumb, she just chooses to be stupid :\

Ok, so, a lot of things happened. Now we know F Memnon framed her. And we also know what really happened in the past. Now Memnon also created another bond… and I really am hoping he pays for being a big F asshole!

To be completely honest, I started hating Memnon, he sucks, and I’m getting so annoyed with Selena.

I’m so so mad. Kane just called her to let her know that the Politia will arrest her.

I don’t know, it’s interesting, but there are many flaws. But still, it is intriguing enough to make me read 100 pages in one day. Selene finally had an orgasm, and she is now a suspect for all the murderers. She also participated in a spell circle for dark magic and busted a werewolf from it, and now the wolves want to talk to her, and they hold her in a high esteem. She also accepted the mummy as her mate.

I could not read much today. However, Selene obviously had to be part of the dark magic circle. & then, she has to save the oferenda (which, btw, was one of the few parts I actually applauded Selene); Mummy is hella worried about her & she does not answer through the bond. I’m just imagining how she will explain everything without sounding even more suspicious. Well, either way, the book got me hooked do inicio!

To be completely honest, I found a few furos na história: 1- snake’s 🩸is cold; 2- how did she get Nero from South America to the US?; 3- no início Sybil’s power was pale purple, but now it was described as pale green?; 4- I had more surtos internos when Selena was kissing Kane than from all interactions between her & Memnon. The mummy is really pissing me off. &, he threw Kane out of the window.

I feel a little bad for saying this, but it is a lot better than the last one I finished, I feel like I could have read 100 pages just today, but it’s late, and I need to sleep, but like, so much better that if I can, I’ll try to finish by the next weekend.

Well, to be honest, it just got a little bit interesting now. I would say that the whole book was an interesting yet boring introduction to the rest of its series. The sibling talk to Jaime, who dated E’s mom, & they now know about the Fleet, & that there is a possibility that E & Henery are not dead, but they were transported to the better world/place. It’s so close to its ending, & I am so happy about it.

I am even more anxious to finish this book & go to the next 1. As I said, the world building is interesting, which makes me curious, but I am bored most of the time. E. went to the library alone & sent a letter to Henery w/ her sketches. It really bothers me that everyone writes in the same specific way, which is impossible to happen in real life, people r different, therefore, they express themselves differently.

So, I’m falling for Henery as well, he is the best. E. had the accident, had that experience, told Henery about it on her letter and that’s where I stopped. I don’t know what will happen next, what will Sophy think about it? What will Vyerin think about it? These are my questions so far. What is the conspiracy theory here?

Henery & E have met already. Their letters are the cutest. E. had that seaquake episode, & due to this event we now know E.’s full name, which is Erudition. Henery got worried about her state and wrote to Sophy. This story’s really cute! But still, really slow paced, not in a bad way, just in a boring way. I still want to know what happens next & the end of the story itself, what’s missing is the patience.
