I like the atmosphere! There were already some details totally different from the movie, so it’s been very interesting! I think I’m going to start marking the differences from the movie and the book…

I read all of this yesterday. Many, many things were left outside the movie, and some were not portrayed correctly. First, Calcifer has the same character, but he is portrayed wrongly. Second, Michael is a teenager of 15 years old who is in love with Martha, the sister that we didn’t even know existed on the movie. Third, there are a lot of clues, on this book so far… clues that Sophie is magical, that everything she says happens, that Howl is heartless, and etc… Lettie ends up falling in love with Howl, but she is just a piece of game for him. And among many other things. Turnip head just showed up as living for the first time…

So far, the book is indeed cozy, and charming, and cute! There are many words I have no idea what they are, but, that’s what makes it fun!
