In this book so far I feel genuine concern, confusion for Ralph & Abby. "Is there an entity ? Did Laura stay between worlds to torture the one who 'took her boy' from her ? Why is Abby so obsessed with pregnancy?" But then, as I read the excerpts of Abby's childhood I begin to realize what's really happening. I feel like Abby is punishing herself while also obsessing over the one thing she craves the most.. a mother.
