Remind me why I left this book on my TBR for so long?

God I already love this book, I’m already laughing and crying and I just started.

Ryland: I like kids. Just a feeling, but I like them. They’re cool. They’re fun to hang out with.

So I’m a single man. In my thirties, who lives alone, in a small apartment. I don’t have any kids, but I like kids a lot. I don’t like where this is going.. A TEACHER. I’m a school teacher! I remember it now. Oh thank god.

Thinking about DNF’ing. It came highly recommended but I catch myself skipping through a lot of pages…

The writing is falling kind of flat. It is so basic and it’s not drawing me into the story.

There is not much mystery or intrigue in the worldbuilding or characters so far. And I just don’t really care for them.

It’s not bad and reviews tell me it gets better. Not sure I’ll continue.
