I don't know about this one. Every character is super annoying to me. There are sparks of potential, but then they'll say something super dumb or obnoxious and it's like, why? Why would anyone like that about a person?

This paperback has been sitting in the same spot for 2 years and I've read a chapter here and there but my goal is to finish it this year!

Why do all of the characters lack boundaries? So far everyone is super annoying and overbearing and this is disappointing for something I was really looking forward to reading

I could do without the antiquated melodrama about abortion and the shame this woman has about it. She had one for her own reasons that were right for her, and to allow her to punish herself thru pages and pages of blathering that do not further the murder plot is ridiculous. More investigating, less unnecessary pain for side plot, please.

This is so predictable. Plus both lead characters are really unlikeable. I'm really bummed so far.

This guy is such a dick about her OCD. It's super obnoxious and ignorant and I don't think I'll ever like him.

I might have regrets. I am so over themes of super insecure teens and over the top bullying, plus schools that are filled with adults that don't protect their charges.

I'm a bigger @sethrogen fan now than when I started reading this. And I liked him enough to pick up a non-fiction book.

It's my first James Patterson, and I hope it's not scary! Don't know why I haven't read his work before. Hope I like it.

I love this series but kind of put off starting this for a bit because I outgrew Chaol a couple books ago and just don't really care about him now. Good luck me!

I have problems with some things like if you attend a hearing/trial and throw shit at people before they've been deemed Flawed, how are all these people not being found Flawed? Or if you pass a sentence without confirmation from other judges, and it isn't legally documented, how is that not Flawed?

I'm still early into this but I'm pretty sure none of the people are real. Except the Dr and maybe Austin. Interesting premise but so far I'm not that into it. This is no Hollows novel.

I don't want to put this down, but I also don't want it to ever end.
