Too much political (french) talk.

Having to stop and translate the random Spanish phrases throughout the book is really annoying.

Everyone in this book is a horrible person. There is a lot of babbling by the author. I'm still trying to figure out if this book is going anywhere. It's a forced read.

What a burning pile of dog shit. The 4 star reviews have to be fake.
This story is so unrealistic and all over the place, it's hard to stomach. I keep going thinking it will redeem itself because I liked the previous books, but I am struggling. I don't know how many times I've said to myself, "This is so f**king stupid" while reading this.

It's just insufferable. I tried to get through it but I was literally hoping both of them got tortured & murdered. I finally had to end my own suffering.

Her underwear has changed three times in one night. She goes to bed wearing red lace panties, she wakes up and goes back to bed wearing her "comfy undies" then she goes back to bed again and he wakes her up and she's wearing black lace panties.

“Fuck, Jay, you want me to mingle with a bunch of rapists? I can hack into their cameras.” He says this right after raping someone.

So he's a savior of children but not of women? It's just moronic.

So this guy hunts human traffickers but stalks and terrorizes women on the side?

I'm 60% in and nothing has happened. Just a lot of repetitive bickering. I'm too bored to finish it.

Is there a point to this book? I feel like the author wanted a trilogy so they're just dragging it out. So far, it's stupid and pointless.

Seriously? I think she just copied and pasted most of the 1st book. Nothing original here.

So far, the story is almost identical to the first book. I feel like I already know where this is going. Same story different H&H. Hopefully the author gets a little more creative.

I'm trying but I don't know if I can get through anymore. It was hard getting through the first one but I thought I would keep going to see if they got better... they don't.

Did she really write "bone-a-phone"? 🙄 That will never be hot.

OMG just stick to the main story! It's just on and on and on with every lame detail of this person's childhood. It jumps from decade to decade so it is hard to follow along and then there are the endless descriptions of every little detail.

I'm really struggling to keep going.

For the love of everything holy, someone tell this author to put her thesaurus away! I don't know how much more I can take of this verbosity!

Another thing that's really annoying about this series is it is written in the 1st person, but the person who is talking keeps changing without warning which gets confusing. I'm on the 4th book and they still haven't figured out the difference between a period and a ?.

OMG this is a train wreck!! Whoever edited this should never work again. If you don’t know that a ? comes after a question and not a statement you are a moron and should not be editing anything, ever. There are periods where ?’s should be and vice versa. Also, If I never see the word “pound town” again in my life it will be too soon. Unfortunately I’m a masochist and want to know how this ends.

If this book gets any more repetitive I’m going to blow my brains out.

These books are so stupid. Why I read this far I don’t know. A glutton for punishment? Why it was made into 3 books is another mystery. The story jumps around too much, like the author can’t finish a thought or she starts in the middle of one and you have to go back to make sure you didn’t miss something.
