The intro is killing me. I’m hoping it gets better

I’m enjoying this a ton but finding it to be repetitive at times.
It often follows the pattern of there being a life threatening problem in the ship that Grace can’t fix and after only talking about it for a second, rocky has a perfect solution for it

I’m about halfway through the book and I’m loving the pacing. I’ve heard lots of people say it is too scientific and I do agree with that but understanding it is not absolutely necessary to understand the story as a whole. Can’t wait to keep reading!
