Not for me.

This is hard to write.

I am dnf-ing this book although I am enjoying it and I am halfway through. I googled Yehoshua, since he is a new author to me to see what else he has written,and I came across some interviews he did.

As someone who has a lot of trauma from growing up in a country that was in a war and having friends who are survivors of Bosnian genocide, I can not support someone who supported killing.

This is what privileged and wealthy people think hitting rock bottom looks like.

Dear book, it's not you, it's me! I have been ignoring you on my nightstand for so long that I decided to give up.
I am sorry I haven't been the best person for you but I am sure your people are out there.

So far not liking it much but I will give it few more pages.

Once of those books that for the most part you are not sure is it worth it but then something happens and it becomes one of the best books of the year.

Almost done and not bad.

I am struggling with this one. A rich, complex, well written book but somehow I just don't connect to the characters.
Maybe the format is the problem.
